Travelex International is celebrating our 30th anniversary! Travelex International, Inc. was established in 1992 by Tor Saile and Ursula Pearson, as a full-service travel company specializing in international travel services.
In 1996, Ursula Pearson became the sole equity owner as its president, and Gregory Pearson joined the company as its executive vice president after 25 years of executive experience in banking and financial services. Collectively, they have built one of Chicago’s premier travel management organizations offering three business segments: personalized leisure travel, corporate travel management, and custom group travel.
Travelex International is a branch of the Tzell Travel Group, and proud members of the exclusive Virtuoso travel network. Travelex International is also a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).
Headquartered in Hoffman Estates, IL, Travelex International provides a staff of dedicated, experienced advisors whose average tenure is over 25 years. In January of 2020, Travelex International and Barrington Travel merged, offering a second location in downtown Barrington. Read more about the merger here.
